• Europrobe :

Europrobe
The Europrobe II has been specifically designed to meet the needs of surgeons and nuclear medicine physicians. It will enable you to precisely and accurately detect areas of increased radionuclide uptake. Europrobe is unsurpassed in its ability to detect a wide range of isotopes. You will be impressed with its elegant simplicity, the result of utilizing the most advanced microprocessor technology in the design of the control module. Simply pushing the appropriate button on the control panel is all that is needed to activate the function(s)
A wide selection of probes have been developed to meet a broad range of applications.
Angle headed geometry perfect for larger detection volume, especially when performing small incisions
Radiation Shielding and Collimation built around the detector provides a high degree of spatial resolution and protection from scatter radiation while preserving significant sensitivity. > Europrobe II PDF doc

CdTe probe
CdTe probe
Length: 165 mm
Diameter: 11 mm (detection head)
Tip angle: 30°
Shielding: High Energy Tungsten
Collimation: Internal (optional: additional external collimation)
Energy range: 20 keV to 364 keV (CdTe/CZT detector)
Weight: 140 g.

CSI probe
CSI probe
Length: 174 mm
Diameter: 16 mm (detection head)
Tip angle: 30°
Shielding: High Energy Tungsten
Collimation: Internal (optional : additional external collimation)
Energy range: 110 keV to 1MeV (CsI(Tl) scintillator coupled to photodiode)
Weight: 175g
Possibility to integrate a larger scintillator in the probe, leading to a 50% sensitivity gain compared to the standard model.

Endoscopic probe
Endoscopic probe
Frontal or lateral detection (to be specified when ordering)
Length: 386.5 mm
Diameter: 10 mm
Shielding: High Energy Tungsten
Collimation: Internal
Energy range: 20-170 keV
Weight: 170 g.

Custom shape probe
Custom shape probe
All kind of shapes can be produced according to customer's needs.
Several types of straight probes have, for example, already been produced.

Additionnal collimators
Additionnal collimators
These collimators will allow the user to increase the lateral shielding of the detector/scintillator when necessary.
These collimators can be clipped on the standard probes with no adjustment and can easily be removed after use.
External dimension of the additional collimators:
- for the 11 mm probe: outer diameter: 14 mm
- for the 16 mm probe: outer diameter: 19 mm.

• Europrobe Optonuclear :
Europrobe Optonuclear
This new dual opto-nuclear module is based on the Euprobe II module and adjoint a capability of vital bleu detection. It is designed for the per-operative sentinel lymph node localization based on radiation and tissue coloration detection.
An opto nuclear probe has been especialy designed for this module. However all the probe of the Europobe II fit with the Europrobe-Optonuclear.

X and gamma ray imaging systems are powerful tools for medical and industrial applications due to a lot of strong advantages. They are parts of several kind of tools like scanner, tomograph, bone densitometer, industrial non destructive control systems: luggage and container inspection, drug or explosives detection, automation of industrial process (food industry...), etc...
CdTe, CZT and Si detectors offer a good compromise between several critical parameters making them good detectors for such systems.

Eurorad has developed a special camera for peroperative detection to enable surgeons to vizualize areas of high uptake during surgery.

This small area (40X40 mm) gamma camera is based on CdTe sensor technology. The hand held ergonomic probe is linked to a real time display module (stand alone – no PC required) Controls are available both from the probe and monitor front panel. Image storage is made directly on a standard recording card (MMC type, 100 images)

The light weight probe (700 g) contains the CdTe sensor, a Tantalum collimator and a shield to avoid any interference (rays). With a 2 button-control panel on the probe, the surgeon can easily select and store images.

A flexible 3,5m cable gives enough freedom for a comfortable use in the OR.
The complete image processing system is placed inside the TFT screen module. No additional PC is required. The waterproof front panel is designed to be easily cleaned.
Image storage is made on a standard memory card (MMC) with a current file format (bitmap) and can then be read on any picture viewer (PC or MAC).
